Melina Kanakaredes plays an American actress who is best famous for her character of the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as The Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. She also received applause for her television debut role as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Some of her most notable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with the Immortals) is thought to be in production. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently working on.
