Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American actor from the United States. Sheedy first made an appearance as an actress in Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she's performed on WarGames as of 1985. Then, she appeared on The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Sheedy is an American actress, and author. Her movie career started in early 1980s when she starred as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. In the film directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck also appeared. In the wake of her success in her first film, she was later seen in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film, directed by him, was one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. Although the budget for this film was only $1 million, the film has grossed more than $50 millions. Meanwhile she had also started being featured in various shows on TV such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. In April of 1980, the show started airing. The show was designed for teens. Other shows on TV she was in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where Sheedy appears in a cameo. Sheedy won numerous awards in 2005 for her performance. She was also awarded an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
