Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. At the age of two, her mother fled an unfaithful relationship. Pickler was brought back to her mother in 1995 when she was appointed the custodian. However, it wasn't as planned. Pickler returned to her parents when she was 12 years old. The grandparents helped them through adulthood. In the absence of her parents, Pickler became too busy as a mother to her siblings. She confessed that, in absence of both parents Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not attend school. In the meantime, she began to teach herself how to take care of her family earlier in time. Pickler was an athlete in middle and high school. North Stanly High School graduated in the year 2004.
